Our Core Values

ACCESSIBLE

We consider quality fitness and health information a basic human right.  With the vast amount of misinformation and profit-driven research pervading our web browsers and traditional education centers, it is our duty to make good information available to as many people as possible.  We have an active social media presence and a blog, which are always free, advocating for effective science-based methodologies of human performance and nutrition.  We offer classes and memberships, as group trainings are more affordable than one-on-one coaching, as well as scholarships opportunities and discounts for students and military personnel.  We want to be accessible to as many people as possible throughout the entire cross section of our community.

PROCESS ORIENTED

Nothing happens overnight, and nothing happens in a vacuum.  We believe that true mastery only occurs when the journey is honored as highly as the destination.  Everyone starts somewhere, and meeting each athlete where they are is how every successful journey begins.  Our coaches are dedicated to helping each member set and attain their own goals for a better life.

RESULTS FOCUSED

Results don’t lie.  We use measurable and repeatable metrics to track success.  Goals tend to evolve and change over time, and the metrics for success change along with them.  Benchmarking lifts is one metric, amount of time to complete a workout is another, but the ultimate metric is quality of life improvements.  Improvements in sleep, pain, stress tolerance, bone density, self esteem, and focus often have much more value than the amount of weight on the bar.  We recognize many different metrics as measures of success.

BETTER LIFTING CULTURE

We stand behind results.  Lift heavy, run fast, eat clean, sleep deep, move in ways our bodies have evolved to move, and we will get better.  We are not interested in what’s marketable, we are not interested in creating or perpetuating a brand or a fad, we are interested in what works.  If it works, we incorporate it into our training methods.
