Nutrition & Lifestyle Coaching

 

The Nutrition & Lifestyle Coaching program is like Personal Training for your life.  Everything from food choices, meal plans, supplements, sleep, movement, and water consumption is fair game.  Monthly memberships include one-on-one sessions with Lauren Hoffman, NTP, HLC, a symptoms and systems assessment, remote support as-needed, and nutritional and lifestyle guidance individualized to each athlete’s goals and physical needs. We believe in the foundation of a whole foods nutrient dense diet and optimal health is required for optimal performance in the gym.



Nutritional Therapy

Nutritional Therapists take a holistic view of health and apply nutrition and supplement recommendations to respond to the specific symptoms burdening each client.  This is a bioindividual approach to nutrition, not a one-size fits all approach.  Nutritional Therapists are not dieticians.  We believe “healthy” looks different for each person.  We believe real food supports health.  We focus on balancing “The Foundations” of human health including:

  • A whole foods nutrient dense diet

  • Digestion

  • Blood Sugar Regulation

  • Fatty Acids

  • Minerals

  • Hydration

In our program, you will learn how to develop a properly prepared, nutrient dense, whole foods diet for yourself and your family, how to make sure you are absorbing the food you are eating, how to balance blood sugar and increase energy, how to ensure you are getting enough essential fats and cholesterol in your diet, how to ensure you are getting sufficient minerals and able to use them in your body, how to best hydrate, and much more.  Nutrition Response Testing is a form of muscle testing used to assess the wellness of each organ system in the body, determine if any stressors are impacting the function of that system, and determine what nutrients the body needs to heal and repair. Diet directly impacts every aspect of human health, appearance, and performance.  Fitness is only one side of the triangle of human health.  Nutrition and Lifestyle complete the triangle.

 

Holistic Lifestyle Coaching

Holistic Lifestyle Coaching uses techniques that have helped thousands increase vitality, increase energy levels, decrease stress, and change the shape of their body.  We consider the body as an integrated “system of systems” and assess the hormonal and neurological response of the body to every decision we make in our lives.  Healthy lifestyle choices are the key preventative measure to avoid chronic disease.  We do not focus on quick-fixes.  Addressing the mental and emotional connections to the body systems and the subtle energy that flows through each of us is a key component of the healing process. Biogeometry, chakra clearing, intentionally prescribed movement, Nutrition Response Testing, archetypes, and reflexology are tools we use to assess and balance the 4 Doctors: Dr Quiet, Dr Diet, Dr Movement, and Dr Happiness to guide a client to vitality. This is a program to build a strong foundation of health and increase our buffering capacity for the stress in our modern lives.
